Essam Bahgat is an accomplished business leader with over 34 years of experience in finance, investment, and
technology management. He holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce and a master’s degree in financial
management, blending academic depth with practical leadership in Egypt’s evolving financial landscape.
Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of E-Systematic, Essam drives the company’s strategic
direction, innovation, and growth within the PropTech and digital transformation sectors.
Before joining E-Systematic, he spent 18 years in financial technology, most notably as the Group CFO of eFinance Holding, where he played a pivotal role in leading one of the largest IPOs on the Egyptian Stock
Exchange.
He also served as a board member at e-Finance and Khalis, subsidiaries of e-Finance Holding, contributing to
the expansion of Egypt’s digital payments and collection ecosystem.
Since 2018, Essam has been a member of the audit committee at MTS, a leading company specializing in
logistics and trade facilitation solutions.
His leadership combines financial acumen, strategic foresight, and a strong commitment to driving sustainable
growth through technology and innovation.
